Grow Your Own Mini Garden
What You Need:
Potting Soil
A small tool or shovel
Seeds
Containers
How to Start:
Note: Before you sprinkle your seeds in the containers, make sure to check the back of the seed packet. Some plants, like the radishes we planted, need to be spaced apart.
Instructions:
Step 1: Gather all the materials that are listed at the top of the page.
Step 2: Fill each container about 3/4 of the way up with soil.
Step 3: Sprinkle or place your seeds on top of the soil (some plants, like root vegetables such as radish, need to be placed a certain distance apart so that they can grow properly).
Step 4: Put a few more scoops of soil on top of the seeds and pat it down.
Step 5: Water your plants and put them in an area with plenty of sunlight so that they can grow.
Step 6: Keep watering your plants regularly (overwatering is a common problem, so make sure not to water them too often!)
Step 7: You may have to transfer your plants into a pot once they get big enough.
